Create Pear Linux 6 Live USB Persistent mode

In this short tutorial, I will show you how to create Pear Linux 6 Live USB Persistent mode. I am using the Pear Linux 6 Alpha 4 since the final version of Pear Linux 6 is not available yet. With the persistent mode enabled, we can save the settings, wallpaper, files and all data into the USB disk. In this tutorial, I was create Pear Linux 6 Live USB via Windows OS and there are some requirements.

Requirements:

Steps to create Pear Linux 6 Live USB Persistent Mode

1. Insert your USB Flash Disk

2. Open Unetbootin and browse the Pear Linux 6 ISO file

3. Specify the persistent space amount. On this example I put 1000 which means this Live USB can store up to 1 GB of files.

4. Select USB disk on the Type and select Drive corresponding your USB flash drive. Press OK when ready and wait until the copying process take place. When done, reboot your PC and boot into Pear Linux 6.

It doesn't work unfortunately...It creates the bootable flash but It doesn't run in persistence mode. If you reboot have to start over with all the adjustments you have made, and all the programs you've installed...Any ideas.. or it's just impossible to create a live usb in persistence mode with PearLinux 6
