How to change default keyboard layout on PearOS 8

This quick tutorial is going to show you how to change the default keyboard layout on PearOS 8. Based on my own experience when testing the new PearOS 8 Beta 3 on my SONY VAIO laptop, the default keyboard layout on PearOS 8 is English (UK). This default layout has some problem on my keyboard. I cannot find the @ symbol. So I need to change the keyboard layout to English (US).
In order to change the default keyboard on PearOS 8, please follow these steps:
1. Open System Settings and press Keyboard
2. On the keyboard tab, click Layout Settings on the left bottom of the Keyboard tab.

3. Now the Region and Language tab should be opened. Click + button on the left bottom of the tab and then the available country or region list with the keyboard layout will be displayed. Select one of them match with your desired layout and press OK.
