Kingsoft Office is a powerful, rich features and professional office application. Kingsoft Office also available for free for Linux users. This tutorial is going to show you how to install the latest version of Kingsoft Office on PearOS 8. Kingsoft Office is a perfect alternative to Microsoft Office 2013. It comes with a nice user interface, way better than OpenOffice or LibreOffice.
1. Download Kingsoft Office installation file. Select the .deb version on the official download page.
2. After download, you should have a file called something like this: kingsoft-office_9.1.0.4184~a12p1_i386.deb
3. Right click the file and select Open with GDebi Package Installer.
PearOS will automatically install Kingsoft Office for you.
Alternatively, you can also execute this command to install the package via Terminal:
sudo dpkg -i kingsoft-office_9.1.0.4184~a12p1_i386.deb
