The Desktop
Pear Linux 8 Beta 1 has a clean and simple desktop with 3D docks on the bottom. You can access some useful applications right away from this dock.
Application Launcher
The launcher button will show any installed applications in grid mode. You can simply select the category on top of it to go to your desired application category. The app icons is now more eye catching compared to Pear OS 7 or any other Linux !
Pear Cloud
Pear Cloud is a new feature in Pear OS 8. You can save your files and data on the Pear cloud server right away from this application.
My Pear 6
My Pear 6 replaces My Pear 5 on previous Pear OS 7. Its a useful application to change some accessories such as Themes, icon, Dock, Notification and Hot corner.
My Theater
I like the way Pear OS 8 play the movie. My Theater makes the VLC media player looks better and professional.
