How to Backup Pear Linux Using Clonezilla

This tutorial is going to show you how to backup a Pear Linux system using Clonezilla. Clonezilla itself is a powerful Linux distribution for backup and cloning purposes. We can backup Pear Linux system and disk completely using Clonezilla. Its pretty easy to backup using Clonezilla. I split this tutorial into several posts.

Requirements:

  • A running Pear Linux OS that wants to backup
  • Clonezilla ISO

How to backup Pear Linux using Clonezilla

Boot your computer using Clonezilla CD or Clonezilla Live USB.

1. On the first boot screen choose Clonezilla Live. It will boot your computer to Clonezilla System.

2. Select the language from the list.

3. Select keymap. I suggest to choose Don’t touch keymap

4. Click Start Clonezilla
5. Choose either device-image or device-device backup type The first options will create image backups and the second one will clone your hard disk into another disk. Choose it accordingly.
