How to install skype on Pear Linux 6
Skype is an essential application for me and most internet users. In this tutorial I will show you how to install Skype on Pear Linux 6. We can easily install Skype on Pear Linux 6 since Skype is now part of Ubuntu repository. So we can easily install Skype using apt-get command.Do the following steps to install Skype
Add Skype repository to Pear Linux 6
sudo add-apt-repository "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ $(lsb_release -sc) partner"
Update Pear Linux and install Skype
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install skype
everything done exactly like I should, message is: "E: Unable to locate package skype"
I just can't find it in synaptics nor in the pear appstore. any solutions?
