A quick tutorial on How to install Chromium on Pear Linux 6
Chromium is a free, lightweight web browser for Linux. Pear Linux 6 does not come with Chromium installed by default. If we want to use Chromium, we need to install it manually on Pear Linux 6. This tutorial is going to show you how to install Chromium on Pear Linux 6.
A. Install Chromium on Pear Linux 6 via Pear AppStore
Thanks to Pear AppStore that provides a simpler way to install many software on Pear Linux 6. In order to install Chromium, simply open Pear AppStore, click Repository and type Chromium on the search box. Press Install next to Chromium.
Wait until the installation process is finished.
B. Install Chromium on Pear Linux 6 via command line.
Another way to install Chromium is via command line. Type this command to install Chromium on Pear Linux 6
sudo apt-get install chromium-browser
