How to install XBMC Media Center on Pear Linux 6

This quick tutorial is going to show you how to install the XBMC on Pear Linux 6. On our previous tutorial, we’ve shown how to install XBMC on Pear Linux 5. Its pretty much the same installing XBMC on Pear Linux 6.

Steps to install XBMC on Pear Linux 6

Step 1. Add XBMC repository to Pear Linux 6.
Simply execute this command to add the official XBMC repository to Pear Linux 6.

sudo apt-add-repository ppa:nathan-renniewaldock/xbmc-stable

Step 2. Update Pear Linux

sudo apt-get update

Step 3. Install XBMC

sudo apt-get install xbmc
